If you have been following The Stylist Online Fan page then you know we’ve spent the latter part of January in Paris studying the fashion and eating illegal amounts of cheese and croissants (when in Rome). It’s worth the waist band adjustment. In addition to the art, cathedrals and mirrored halls you studied in grammar school there are 3 hot trends lingering in the city of lights and romance (and cheese). Keep reading to ensure your fashion appetite is satisfied, and to be ahead of the trends.
Before we unveil the must haves one must understand that much of what happens in the Paris / Milan fashion market gets translated by main stream designers and shows up in the US about 6-8 months later. Knowing this; here’s what you’ll find on the upcoming seasons fashion menus.

1. The cloche flapper hat is making a huge come back. It is also called a bucket hat. You might find it this spring in linen, or straw. However; keep your eyes peeled late summer as fall hits the hangers and you’ll see these tres femme hats in wool felt.
2. The quilted, cozy and fur embellished coat. This little piece of luxury is both functional and fashionable. You can take a sponge to the fabric to wipe off the spills. No more saving your best coat from the rapid fire of winter dirt, driving mishaps with the morning cup of caffeine and carpool sticky fingers. Come next fall these will be lining our stores.
3. A spring color that is already here. Orange, yellow and magenta are making a big splash this summer. To save you from going overboard with this trend incorporate the color in an accessory, or single wardrobe piece.
