Tee & Mom
It’s true that we all need a basic “tee” (the en vogue name for T-shirt) selection in the wardrobe arsenal. My mother often asks me this rhetorical question; “at what point did t-shirts become something other than underwear?” This is her polite way of suggesting that t-shirts really are to be confined to the house. Well, even mom has been caught out and about with a fashionable “tee” on her canvas.
There is a side of me that really does agree with mom’s train of thought. I mean, if the “tee” is to be worn, why not wear one that is something other than basic. So, take a peek at your arsenal and decide if you have too many plain old t-shirt options. If you do, update your style with a fashionable “tee”, and practice adding a little something extra like a necklace, or bracelet to complete the look.
Here are a few to think about:
Style Dial #1; this J Crew short sleeve tee is ideal for your hour glass figure. Pair it with a stack of Alexis Bittar Skinny Bangles to take it to the next level.Style Dial #2; try this tee from Loft to add shape to your shoulders and balance out the hip cage then add the pearls on a rope to spice it up a notch. Style Dial #3; create a waist with this magical tee from Nordstrom and add a little summer time with a stack of enamel bangles.
